Founded by the KD Education Trust, Arni University has been established by an Act of Himachal Pradesh Govt and approved by the UGC, vide notification No F-No 8-5/2010(CPOP-1/PU, dated 03 Mar 2010, with the aim of inspiring students for greater achievements in the field of learning and thus help students to become efficient, effective and balanced leaders with sterling character qualities.

The University is located in a lush green area which is made ideal by the Dhauladhar Ranges and Beas River for study and research work. The Campus covers an area of about 120 acres of land hence ensures enough scope for futuristic developments.

The University focuses on comprehensive growth of the students, working on their hearts and minds by addressing to their academic, cultural, physical and social needs. In addition to this, University lays a lot of emphasis on personality development, including communication skills of the students so that they could face any challenges while seeking suitable jobs.
